I think this tool would serve as a good reflecting tool for instructors and to see what their students are thinking. I thought it was really neat and it had some cool features. It is also good for students because they are able to see their results and also get feedback and tips on things they can do in the future to better prepare and motivate them. The instructor is able to get to know their students and see their strengths and weaknesses, and with that information they are able to conduct their online course to fit the needs of the students. I think one of the disadvantages of surveys is that some students may just click through it without thinking about the question just to get it over with.

I think this website and tool are a great resource for students and instructors. Giving students access to see what type of learners they are and giving them a brief overview of study tips to better help them as online learners. I think this is a great tool to offer students especially if they are struggling to stay motivated and engaged in online learning. This tool can help teachers to see what types of support to offer their online students.

I selected this application at is allows for BOTH the teacher and student to. track their growth progress throughout the duration of the course/school year. It provides direct insights on overall class progress but also gives detailed insights on progress made in learning/understanding the technology aspect. The breakdown this application provides is easy to comprehend and is appropriate for a wide variety of ages. This application also provides users with helpful tips, tricks, and tactics to implement that will continue growing their newfound knowledge and understanding learned throughout their course.

This tool felt very easy to use and was simple to understand. It was great that there was a scale for each question in case you felt strongly or not about something. It lacked depth without graphics, however. It can help teachers gain perspective about their learners and how they feel about various topics. It could be used as an exit slip activity for professional developments or just as an end of course survey for an online course.

This tools survey include several insightful questions, but my favorite thing about the app is the feedback analysis it compiles for the students and instructor. You are able to have your very on class survey and get the data for that specific class. I did have trouble with trying to create an account. Once I finally created my account, when I tried to sign in later, it said my password was wrong and locked me out. That is the only concern that I have about the tool. I do think that it would be nice to have more survey options as well or at least allow you to edit the survey.

In my opinion, I believe that eLearnReady is a great tool to use in when preparing students for online courses. Some of the strengths of the program is that it allows the learners to be very honest, because it is done anonymously, the questions are clear and easy to answer, and it was not too time-consuming. I also like that it has the ability to personalize individual results for each student. They also provide ways for them to do better in an online course. Teachers can use the data so they can better meet the needs of the students. A disadvantage of the program is that it does not have an open-ended question section where students can leave feedback. This would help give more specific details to their answers. Although giving an honest answer is a strength, honesty can also be a disadvantage as students sometimes click through answers to get it done and are not always honest.

This tool was very beneficial for instructors to have a general idea of students study habits and the overall ability of the course. Overall, the survey was very user friendly and was short and to the point. I liked how easy it was to access. I think it also is an easy option for instructors to use that allows them to have information on students. Although, the only downside is the questions are very general and are not specific to each and every course. This tool can help learners become more in touch with their own preferences and study habits and also will allow instructors to understand how their students learn best.

I actually really like this survey tool and I think it's relevant for today's learning environment. It is also appropriate for multiple grade levels K-12 as well as for higher education. The questions asked would provide quality information for instructors to provide the appropriate supports for their students. I can also see how the questions might create curiosity in students or the motivation to explore some of the skills in order to be better prepared for a course. This could be quite reflective for students. My only suggestions for improvement are that the survey should allow the addition of specific instructor-contributed questions that may specifically apply to their course and that the site include assistive technology options for more equitable access.

This is a great tool for assessing preparedness for online learning because the results from the survey show your strengths and areas of improvement. As a student, reviewing these results can be very valuable. You can begin to work on your areas of improvement so that you will be better prepared for an online course. As a teacher, there are also benefits from this survey as well. Teachers can look at their students' results and see what areas they are struggling in. Then, they can make changes to their course to fit the needs of their learners. Before taking this survey, I felt that I would score well in all categories because I feel that I perform well in an online setting. My results opened my eyes and made me realize why I struggle in some aspects of online learning. For example, my self-management was the lowest score and I can see how that relates to my learning. I struggle with staying on a schedule and tend to wait until the last minute to do assignments. This often times leads to me producing work that I know I could do much better on. One thing that I feel this survey is lacking is its customization. I think it would be better if teachers could add/delete questions from the survey to accommodate their needs.

After completing the survey and creating one for my course. I think that this is something all teachers can use even in the traditional classroom setting. This is a way that teachers can find out how their students learn best and have data to show for it. Also, this gives students a voice students are able to tell us how they learn and how they feel about things. Changes I would make is making the surveys friendly for lower grade levels as most of those students cannot read so having pictures, videos, and or it being read to them.

The eLearnReady survey is very user friendly and very detailed. It provides fast feedback. This survey addresses each category with a very through explanation. This survey really allows the user to evaluate their learning styles. It really allows one to learn more about themselves and how to grow within their educational needs. This would be great for teachers to use at the beginning of school just to get to know their students more. However, I do think that this is geared more towards the older students. One improvement that I would recommend would be to make it more simple so that students who are younger would be able to use this also. I would love to use this at the beginning of the year with my third graders. It would really allow me to see exactly how I would need to teach each student in order for them to succeed within my class.

The number one strength I noticed about eLearnReady is that it is very simple for most users. I felt that everything was addressed very thoroughly and provided strong explanations. I think this could be a great tool used in the classroom for teachers to get to know their students better. As a teacher, this can help you prepare for the students and the course. However, these students would need to be older, as younger students often cannot read, and may not relate to many of these questions.
